Long-awaited Update

Sorry that I once again have failed to post on the blog. We have yet to get internet at the house. Well, fall is in full swing here in Savannah. Josh is coaching cross-country again and is a chaplain for the football team. So, we will be attending most of the sporting events at Calvary Day School. Josh is also in the process of starting a Sunday night service, designed to target the younger population of Savannah. He stays very busy but loves his job. I am in my last semester at Georgia Southern. I will graduate December 7 with my Masters! I have just started the job process and hopefully will be employed by December.

On a less upbeat note, I am having surgery next Wednesday, the 12th to have my thyroid taken out. There are two suspicious nodules in my thyroid. Because I will no longer have a thyroid, I will have to be on medication for the rest of my life. I am not that excited about being dependent on medication, but I don't have any other choice. I will try to keep everybody updated on the results.

If any of our friends have a blog that we do not know about, please let us know. We would love to keep up with you too!
